Advertising Disclosure
Last updated: September 6, 2026
LegalCalcHQ is free to use because it is supported by display advertising, currently served through Google AdSense, and later a larger ad network. These ads are served by third parties, who may use cookies and similar technologies to personalize and measure them.
Ads never influence your results
Every calculator on this site is pure math run on the numbers you enter. Advertisers have no way to influence a calculator's output or the substance of our guides and cheat sheets. There is no code path on this site where an advertiser affects your figures.
How to control ad personalization
You can control ad personalization in several ways: through our consent banner if you are in the EEA or the UK, through the “Your Privacy Choices” link in the footer of every page, through Google's Ads Settings, or through your browser's own cookie controls. See our Privacy Policy for full detail on how our advertising cookies work.
Affiliate links
We do not currently use affiliate links anywhere on this site. If we add them in the future — for example, links to payroll or HR software we consider genuinely useful — we will clearly mark them and update this page, and we will disclose any compensated link as required by the FTC's endorsement guidelines. Compensation from an affiliate link would never change a calculator's results.
Why we disclose this
You are entitled to know how a site you use makes money. The Federal Trade Commission and our ad-network partners require this disclosure, and we think it is the right thing to do regardless.
